Actually I turned up around late night from hanoi about midnight. Kim Ngan had not received my booking verification from hostel bookers - 1st day of national holidays and everywhere was full. Thanks a lot hostel bookers NOT. But Kim came to the rescue and found me a bed and put me up for the night in the family house and free. Sooo grateful. Unbelievably warm and friendly and helpful.

Was ok and would stay again. Staff were extremely helpful via email and when we got there. Breakfast basic but filled a hole. Location is out of the way a bit but ok if you dont mind a 15 - 20 minute walk for great food.

It should be noted that, not only was the listed price wrong, I was told that I would be picked up from the bus station and no one ever came to pick me up. When I finally figured out where the location was and made my way over there, they said &"Sorry we didn&'t pick you up, that street is closed today&" which was true. Of course, none of the parallel streets were closed, someone could have easily walked through the ally to get me instead of leaving me sitting there at 7 am following an all night bus ride wondering what was going on.
