The property is much more of a hotel than a hostel. With that being said, the room was clean, but a bit old and thrown together. The included breakfast was pretty very good with accessible asian dishes mixed with the standard continental breakfast.

I am a travel photographer and writer, reviewing properties as I travel and this is a great family run property. The property owner speaks fluent English, really helpful with needs. The rooms are superb in size. Bath location even larger. Really comfortable beds. Nice open air garden area. Location is handy to markets, effortless walking distance to marketplaces by river, night market, no need to hire transport if you enjoy a 10 minute walk to see the city. I can highly recommend this property. I have seen many in my years of professional travel and can say that you will not be disappointed, especially for the cost of the rooms, helpfulness of owner and location.
