The management offered very good advice on local tour and made very good arrangement in advance booking. When we knew the forecast of weather is poor, they checked the forecast assisted immediately to calld the tour agent to change the date. The breakfast is very good.

Hotel Alcazar is a boutique hotel at hostel prices. The owners are very friendly and will give great advice on eating places and things to do. They reserved bus tickets for us to Punta Arenas and Ushuaia. The hotel is very clean, freshly painted rooms, nice wooden floors, comfortable beds, down comforters, great lighting, a public computer, circulating warm water heaters, great water pressure with plenty of water. The cheese, meat, and yogurt were a great addtion to the usual Chilean breakfast fare.

Het is vriendelijk en schoon maar een beetje te ver uit het centrum. En je moet van duiven houden, verder prima.

I liked the just-outside-of-downtown location of this place. The atmosphere was nice and tranquil, and it was nice to be out of the buzz of the down-town area, but at the same time just a 10-minute walk to restaurants/shops/everything. The super-friendly employees is definitely the top part--they picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station, and helped us with a tour to Torres del Paine from their travel agency. The homemade bread was fantastic on the cold patagonian morning, along with the fresh plum jam was amazing! The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the friendly employees really make this location special. Definitely a amazing value.
