This is the hostel that each and every hostel should measure up to! I had an internship in Medellin and was initially planning to stay in Yellow House for a week, then extended my stay up to a month but. loved it so much that I have ended up staying for 2 months! Vincent (the owner) is the very best simply because he really cares. He really wants everyone to have a great time there and is pleased to accommodate for everyone&'s needs in case you are just willing communicate to him that you don&'t like some thing (although it is difficult for me to imagine that there&'s some thing you wouldn&'t like;)). The dogs are completely adorable! I have even seen people who were really scared of dogs ending up liking them, so not staying there simply because of the dogs is no excuse! The breakfast is the very best ever (Vincent is French so obviously his food standards are really high! ). The hostel is often clean and quiet and has great atmosphere. There is certainly a garden outside exactly where you can enjoy affordable Colombian beer and also the amazing Medellin weather. There is certainly also a nice public location inside the house. The location exactly where the hostel is situated is also really good- a nice change from overrated el Poblado, with much far more affordable prices. There is certainly plenty of places around to eat out. And I have NEVER felt unsafe there, even at night! Another bonus is that it is really close to metro (1 min away) and also the metro in Medellin can take you anywhere. I can not recommend this hostel enough! I completely loved it! Great sized room, fantastic breakfast and a outstanding atmosphere. Location is brilliant, right near to the metro and from the shabby central area. It is also close to the Olympic swimming center and a small supermarket. Nice dogs.

After 1. 5 months traveling around Colombia, this is the very best hostel in the country! Actually it&'s not a hostel, but a home! It is is small (only 1 dorm and some private rooms), in a noiseless and safe residential area, only 2 blocks from Metro station, and super clean! The owner, Vincent, is a extremely funny guy. His 2 dogs, Tomas && Matias, are extremely cute! They make me often wish to come back, which I did. Oh, did I mention the very best breakfast in Colombia is included

The French owner, Vince is fantastic and helpful. Nice two dogs, also for your safety :-) Breakfast with extremely great value. Very closed to Metro. Secure area.

It&'s so near to the metro! And you are in a extremely leafy and green area, everything is so close. Wireless is fast, breakfast is fresh and great, hot shower at avery moment of the day. Owner Vincent works really har to keep his guest satisfied. Def. Advice to stay here.
