La Serrana Eco Farm HostelAccommodation Type : Hostel La Serrana is an Eco Farm and Hostel in the heart of the coffee region of Colombia. We established in April of 2010 on a working dairy farm. The farm is 1. 5 kms from the middle of Salento, a 20 hectare green pasture with 360 degree scenery of the mountains, valleys and the entire region. Our visitors can appreciate all of the benefits of town along with the peace of being on a farm within the andes.

It is really beautiful! very nice living room, great views, really tranquil. it is a bit outside the town, but worth it. and they have a real, made to order breakfast! such a nice change from the usual toast/pancakes. i extended my stay past my initial booking :)

Great setting from the city centre, really comforting surroundings among the mountainous terrain, helpful staff who go out of their way to assist with travel related enquiries && who make your stay as comfirtable as possible, clean && comfy dorms with plenty of space, superb dinners!

Beautiful premesis on a hilltop overlooking a lovely scenic valley, staff were very friendly and helpful during stay and able to supply advice on local tours and activities. Wonderful breakfast included and delicious dinners on offer. Wonderful atmosphere, and not surprising this spot attracts a warm and energetic crowd of fellow travellers.

It&'s a real natural location with gorgeous scenery. Not faraway from Solento (only 15 mins afoot). Employees is really helpful despite language difficulties. The breakfast was really tasty. But special and amazing benefit is a coffee tour at Sacha Mama Farm.

DVD player, hot showers and nada was great! Awesome natural yogurt (ie not full of sugar n thickness) for brekkie with the included fruit salad.

It is a 15-20 minute walk out of town but that means the hostel is situated in the most serene area with great sights of the valley below. The staff are friendly, great evening meals are on provide as nicely as the rooms are clean and comfortable.
