I can see there are a few negative comments about this hostel but I personally feel they are either unnecessary or petty complaints. Firstly the biggest problem other travellers had is the location - can they not read a map. As it clearly shows that the hostel is on the outskirts of Zagreb! And also due to the fact you are on the ouskirts, you are near to fields/in the countryside. which means you have the honest and sweet smells of nature! The place for us was excellent as it was pretty to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city and really see and appreciate the real Zagreb not just the tourism of Zagreb. The hostel only has a few facilities but come on. you are in Zagreb, there are greater things to do then just sit in your hostel. The spot is clean and tidy even though there is some cosmetic work going on. The BEST component of staying here was the genuinely genuine, helpful and awesome staff; Vlad and Dino! They were so obliging. We arrived late during the night and absolutely nothing was open for food, so Vlad was ordering us take away, whilst being so friendly and extremely chatty about catherdrals. Also gave us so much inforrmation about Zagreb and Croatia, and how to get to and from the hostel easily - when they could not drive us as they were always willing to help and take us places for free (also informed us to use the trams and busses in the city as it is either low-cost or free). I have travelled numerous times and stayed in numerous hostels. And this one is my favourite as you cannot buy genuine, lovely, friendly and caring people. I will be staying here again just to say hello!

Friendly staff. Nice common location and also the beds are soft. Reasonably priced for the city too.

Receptionist is nice, there was a projector to watch movies on, if you brought a laptop (we didn&'t, dvd wasn&'t working). Nice environment at night. Really desire to like it, but can&'t recommend.

Hostel is maby far away from the city center, but in case you desire to spend your time with interesting individuals and save your money, this hostel is a good solution. Nice private rooms. Recomendation for couples. I will come here again I have that idea

I did not like anything; except the fact the internet worked and that we got a ride to the Tramstation. The night ahead of we had to walk to it and back inside the dark and it took about about 45 minutes each way. As it is not in a nice area it doesn&'t really feel extremely safe.

Nice and warm and friendly staff, the best value for money. The cheapest hostel we have ever visited.

Helpful staff, secure parking near to hostel, 24 hour reception was very good as we arrived extremely late, nice and silent and empty, cozy beds, very good web connection, straightforward to find.
