The location was totally perfect. Right by the significant city square, it&'s literally inside very reasonable walking distance for everything such as the significant drinking strip, cathedral, the museums, stores etc. The man who owns the hostel is very friendly and welcoming, gives very detailed advice about the city and is happy to help with anything. The rooms are pretty basic, but are more than fine for the money you pay for them. Can&'t complain at no cost wifi, mini-fridge, shower facilities and a comfortable enough bed.

We rented the 2 room apartment that slept 4 && found it really roomy. Tin was really warm and friendly && helpful. The fresh flowers on the table were a really nice touch that we really appreciated. You could not beat the location. It was really central to everything and only a 10 minute walk to the train station.

When I travel the only thing I care about lodging is that it is clean, safe, and in a great noiseless location. In all these respects Lessi is perfect. The location could not be better - right in the really heart of town with immediate access to the fabulous public transit, and yet quiet. The room is located in a little courtyard above a pub which closes around 23:00 and is also convenient for coffee or tea. Anything you would possibly wish to see in Zagreb is either walking distance or can be reached by one of the trams just outside. Tin, the host, is warm and generous and often accessible for help. There is certainly even a warm and friendly courtyard cat. On Sundays, the farmers marketplace place is likewise just around the corner. I immediately felt a part of the city and its people. By contrast, I just checked into one of the chain hotels (a work complication) along with the room is about the same size but generic, cold and bland.
