Simple but charming little hotel with clean rooms, extremely friendly and obliging staff, and a cozy atmosphere.

Staff was very nice and warm and friendly but not pushy. The location is very good if one wants to really stay in Downtown, it's directly in between 3 of the Principal Down-town Metro Stations all inside 5 Mins walking distance which is very helpful when one needs to get somewhere faster (and effortless to get back to). about the rooms: you'll locate everything you'd expect in them, a wonderful bed, clean sheets and whats possibly note worthy, the high ceiling, the rooms height i would estimate at about 4 Meters (or about double the height of a normal floor) whilst the breakfast is basic (as mentioned), they didn't enforce eating times, I got breakfast when i asked for it, no matter how late it was inside the day (aka "when I got up"). I did take one of the trips (Giza/Saqqara/Memphis) the hostel offered (but as mentioned before, they did not push it, they just offered it once and that was it, I asked for it the second time) and it was pleasant, the driver spoke English well and did drive quite European (not taking extreme risks, honking each 5 seconds etc. ), he didn't rush me through the sites but instead asked me how long i wanted to stay at the sites and made (good) suggestions on what I should pay attention too, again not trying to get me to stop at shops or eating places or whatever else kinda traveller hell's there are ;) I would suggest Cairo Palace to everyone who does not expect to be treated as a guest of a 5 star hotel, its much more of a familiar atmosphere.

Airport pick-up service was really helpful for first arriving in Cairo. The rooms are large and nicely air-conditioned, and also the location is great. Free wireless was also a plus! Skype calls can be made from the common room really easily as it is rarely crowded. They were even able to wash my clothes for me!

Useful and friendly staff. They invited me to appreciate their dinner and took me to the train station by car for free. Wireless is really strong signal which you even can skype so clearly. Huge rooms and clean beds which is really good. Breakfast with fried egg, juice, bread, jam, cheese. can't be greater with the money you pay.

The hotel's staff really did their really very best to create me feel at home. Though there were some glitches with my stay in Egypt, they sorted it out quite well. I give the staff two thumbs-up for their exceptional hospitality! The location is also great. Just a few mins walk to Ramses Station along with the Egyptian Museum. There were also lots of local restaurants around.

We only stayed here for one night. but that one night was great! There were 7 of us wanting to stay together but only 6 bed rooms. The staff happily moved an extra bed in for us. Cant say enough great things about the staff here! Extremely helpful, with a genuine care and interest in their guests! Definitely recommend staying here!
