Friendly staff, good showers, outstanding self catering facilities (the greatest I&'ve ever seen at a hostel with multiple sinks/cookers/storage spaces). Also have a bar and restaurant, washing room and numerous rooms to sit down.

Friendly, helpful staff. Well equipped kitchen. Good bar with decent beer selection. Excellent location on the edge of Lake Windermere, with many rooms overlooking the lake.

We loved the location of the hostel, right on Lake Windermere. Our room looked out onto the lake which was stunning to wake up to. As we stayed over the New Year festivities we enjoyed the relaxed setting too.

The location is perfect, right on Lake Windermere, which was beautiful. The employees were all great even the hostel was extremely busy at times. I would definitely go back.
