The Backpackers Lodge at Windermere was in a ideal location being as near to the train station and also the bus stop as a hostel could be, being literally across the road. There was no-one there to meet us at the property but there was a pin number to open the front door and details were properly provided inside. The room was excellent and also the facilities were really very good with plenty of no cost coffee and tea and also toast and cereal for breakfast provided. The lounge was comfy with plenty of seating. I would definitely suggest it as abase for the lakes and would definitely stay here again.

Reads per the description, entirely self catering. Reasonable cost as not much around and close to station. Breakfast is basic but ok. Clean. Recommened
