Southend hostel is a nice and silent hostel not faraway from the city center and there is certainly a nice blues bar 15 metres from the hostel entrance. The rooms are tidy and the beds were ok and you have lockers to store your bags in. This is a nice spot for the people who rather enjoy silent and calm athmosphere at their sleeping places.

They had said that I could arrive late in the evening but when I arrived there was no one around. I called mobile number and a young woman from their team extremely kindly got out of bed to let me in.

The location is amazing and the stuff was really helpful. If you just need a bed, its okay but in case you wanna spend some time there or you look for a nice spot to hang out, take another one!
