It was situated right at the foot of Meteora! Lovely views, knowledgable and helpful staff. It was quiet and peaceful, a nice break from busy and crowded hostels we had been staying at. Clean and safe, has a cooking area you can use, supermarket close by! Cabs come inside 5 minutes of calling! A fantastic stay, for a fantastic price

This hostel was easily the most accepting and flexible hostel I have ever encountered. The receptionist, Nicoletta, graciously allowed me to stay two nights even though I had made a horrendous booking error. I thought I had booked for March 24-March 26 (2 nights) but in actuality had booked March 31 - April 1. I showed up on March 24 expecting my booking to be ready and was aghast when I realized my mistake. Luckily, Nicoletta was able to scramble and uncover a room for me for those two nights although the entire location seemed booked. She and her husband cooked breakfast not exclusively for me but the massive Israeli household there both mornings I was there and allowed me to use the cooking area facilities to cook dinner. Nicoletta&'s english was fantastic and she was extremely understanding of my situation as a solo backpacker; without her english being at the level it was I&'m sure I would have found myself in a much worse situation. Her husband also woke up at 5 am to help me get to the Kalambaka train station on time for my 5:40 train to Athens while Nicoletta had packed a breakfast for me the night prior to and left it inside the fridge downstairs. Unbelievable hospitality. FANTASTIC CHOICE - not exclusively for the hospitality of the staff, but the proximity to the monasteries is unrivaled along with the footpath leading from the Villa up into the mountains provides for an amazing full-day hike and a much more rewarding way to explore the ancient monasteries than driving among them all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The family who run the villa are awesome and treat you as portion of their family. When we arrived they showed us to the room and told us to pay later. We ate at the family restraurant where again they said just pay later. They gave as extra food for our meal along with the grandfather cooks awesome kebabs. On the last morning we were leaving early so the Grandmother got up early and packed us our breakfast to take with us. They really try hard to make sure you have an excellent stay, it was the friendliest place we have stayed on our trip so far. Extremely close to Meteora, as its in Kastraki, the town below Meteora (a taxi trip from the station).

Unbelievable friendly staff, you get immediately feeling of your own home. The family running this hostel runs close restaurant too with excellent food and service. Very, very great costs for everything.

We were on a quick Greek road-trip and stayed at this fairly contemporary home [comparing to other lets/rooms inside the village]. Really close to &"Attractions&" but its an outstanding walk to the main town.
