This was, by far, our favourite hostel of our whole trip through Central America. The hostel is beautifully decorated, with quirky artwork by the late owner (he could&'ve made a living from his art alone). It&'s spacious, each room had cable TV, aircon, a hot shower and was really clean. There is certainly a huge DVD collection, no cost beach towels to borrow, snorkelling gear to rent, fantastic home cooked breakfasts, which offered some thing different each day. I can&'t rate this location high enough. The current manager, Diane, is an angel - she looked after us like a mother, we felt extremely secure and really welcome. Diane is so chatty and helpful, we were sad to say goodbye. If you&'re going to Roatan you really must book in here. Considering the prices of points on this island, this location is super value for money. It&'s also in a perfect location just 3 min walk back from the beach. We just loved this place, it&'s much more like a hotel.

Just 5min walk to the west bay beach, amazing snorkeling from the shore. Different breakfast each and every day, cooked and served from the property owner Glen, secure and calm area, No cost dvd collection and dvd player inside the private room was great. Glen was a extremely nice host, very useful and we had some outstanding conversations too.

Glen (owner) is an wonderful host! The Westbay B&B was great the hotel and rooms were in superb shape. The hotel was also in a great location about a 2 min walk from the most effective beach on the island. I would definitely suggest this hotel to everyone.

Westbay B&B has to be one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed at in all my travels! It is only 6 months old and has all new rooms/bathrooms and facilities. The owner, Glen, is the friendliest ex-pat you'll ever meet and one thing I'll miss for sure are his awesome breakfasts! I would recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Roatan as it is a backpacker's (or regular traveler's) dream and it beats every hotel on the island! It's a great value, just a few minutes from the best beach on the island. I enjoyed my stay and I will definitely come back.
