The hotel&'s in a lovely old building and the rooms are huge and full of character. The location is fantastic, with the fantastic covered market place place a few mins away on foot and Tesco over the road. There&'s also a metro station and tram and bus stops extremely nearby. The employees are super-friendly and helpful, which really adds something to the stay. Everyone spoke English and the price includes breakfast (cold buffet) and free wireless throughout the hotel. I&'d definitely recommend this hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was inside an excellent 30 minutes walk to most of the points of interest on the Buda side of Budapest and inside 5 minutes of an excellent market place exactly where you can by Hungarian meats and cheese. The holiday accommodation was also inside 5 minutes walk of an excellent strip of restaurants that catered to tourist. The employees were helpful and spoke English really well. It was basic to get into the property at any time of day with no hassle.

I was my second stay at Kalvin House, and if possible, the standard of the location was even better than before. The hotel is VERY CENTRALLY located, my room had air conditioning, the employees was friendly and helpful along with the breakfast verstalite and delicious. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Neat and clean with an excellent location near resturants, theLiberty Bridge and National Museum. Fantastic value for money in a pretty period building.
