The employees were very nice and helpful They arranged a decent priced evening boat trip which was great We had a train in the afternoon and they let us stay free of charge in the room soon after our actual checkout time Arranged a low cost tuk tuk to the train station

Varanasi we found to be hectic, noisy and filthy and full of people trying to get money from you. So to be able to walk or tuktuk down to Rahul Guesthouse just beyond Assi Ghat takes you to a quiet spot exactly where you can just relax on their rooftop restaurant. Super efficient and friendly owner who has your best interests at heart. He will organise most items for you and he keeps the process down. He is expanding the business so it will get better.

We loved everything about this property! We had a suite with an awesome view of the Ganges directly from our room! The room was huge and clean with a huge bathroom. The hotel employees was the best! So helpful wtih giving sightseeing tips and setting up the trips directly for us. They were also great in giving advice on places to eat. Just overall so nice and helfpul. The location was great also! Located right on the Ganges and you can walk all the Ghats directley from the hotel. We really enjoyed our walk along the Ganges, one of our favorite parts of Varanasi! We would definitley stay here again and highly reccomend this hotel!

Had organised through the guest home for a tuk tuk pick-up from Varanasi and was met off the carriage on arrival. Pretty views from rooftop restaurant. Food fine, but service a bit on the slow side. 10 to 15 minute walk to start off of the ghats at Assi Ghat. Helpful and warm and friendly management. Strongly recommend.

This was just what we were looking for soon after a long two day journey overland from Nepal. The room was massive and clean and also the staff were extremely helpful. They let me use their computer when I needed to (although there is certainly wi-fi from their restaurant on the top floor overlooking the Ganges) and were helpful in every way. The location of the guest house is both a blessing and a curse depending on what you are looking to get from your time in Varanasi. For us, it was excellent as it was away from all the noise of the old town and in a extremely peaceful component of the city but still inside easy reach of everything. If we returned to Varanasi, we would stay here again.

Excellent and attentive service. The manager/owner was always around, talking to customers and personally making it sure that all guests are nicely treated and satisfied. Whole staff extremely polite and helpful. Noiseless and secure neighbourhood. Location a bit faraway from the ghats but still within walkable distance (15 min) - nicely suited for travellers who do not bear the constant noise, smoke and crowds of the old town and ghats. True pearl, particularly by Varanasi standards.

The roof top terrace was a definite highlight! Really nice environment an brilliant view. The boat trip they provide was good to. The room was really clean with airconditioning, a fan and a tv.
