Very clean, great and huge rooms and bathroom (great shower). The breakfast was average, coffee and toast. There exactly where huge steps to get there so it&'s not that cool if you have heavy luggage. There is certainly a cool market, mostly of leather just inside the street below. The location is vey good, close to the terminal station and some of the main attractions. The wireless fails inside the room but works great inside the common &area. The stuff is really nice.

Wifi worked in rooms, large bathrooms, no extra charge for lockers, extremely handy location (close to bus and train). Staff was very useful with pointing out the places to see, where to eat, and helped me uncover a laundrymat.

They actually have two places, one as shown inside the website is very nice. It&'s like a flat so feels quite homely, very near to the Duomo. Our room was big, with our own bathroom and a great view! But they have another location exactly where you might be put in without warning, is only so so and a bit farther away, about 5 mins walk from the location shown inside the website; it&'s small and ordinary like normal hostels. We booked the private room with bathroom but the first night we stayed in this second property without our own bathroom. We got some money back but changing room on the second day is a pain! Most of the staffs there are nice, some are extremely helpful! I don&'t know what happened to the booking- it can be caused by the Hostel Booker system. So you much better to email them to double check in advance! The facilities are okay. You can get net access (In both places) even inside the bedroom, which is very useful! Hairdryer provided, towel cost &xa3;1 each. The bathrooms are clean enough. Breakfast provided, but inside the nicer location (as shown inside the website) provides milk, tea, coffee, toasts, butter and jams; another location only provides milk, tea, coffee and some biscuits (no toast). Lockers cost money and are only inside the farther away place. (The nicer location doesn&'t have any lockers. ) Payment can be by money or cards, but in case you pay by card you have to pay inside the nicer location as the farther away location doesn&'t have a card machine.

As it was the down season, they gave us the greatest room in the place! It was so spacious and gorgeous with fantastic scenery of the centre of town. Couldn&'t have asked for a far better location.

The view from the room was beautiful, and also the hostel itself was centrally located and right by the train station. It was like a little oasis within the middle of Firenze.
