Charming room! There were four of us within the room and we had plenty of space even though it was just one room. Looking out the window you see this church and its emblem, very quaint. Loved the street with its cute shops, straightforward access to each place, and mostly, quiet at night. Hence we slept nicely at night. Aircon was okay, but it was nice to open the stunning windows too. The young man who met us upon arrival was very nice and helpful (and patient). Highly suggest this room for the price!

The room was adorable which we liked and there was enough room. The employees was wonderful, they went out and got us coffee one morning bc all that was inside the room was decaf. Very nice of them to go out of their way. It was clean and met our needs.

Great that we got a room to ourselves with a private bathroom inside the room :) We didnt see any other travellers during our time there. It was a wonderful location also

This is not a hostel so if your looking to meet peiple to party this isnt the place. This is pretty much your own apartment. Its awesome, especially considering the cost and how close you are to everything! There is certainly a kitchen inside the room and a market and massive food market close by. About 5-10 mins walk to the duomo. Close to the train station also. Really is excellent value for money!

This guesthouse was great. We felt like we had our own apartment in Florence. Our budget private room had a small kitchenette, complete with stove, fridge, pans and dishware, which was awesome for being on a budget in Italy. There were a few low-cost markets around the area, so we took advantage of that as well. Really friendly employees as well. And there is air conditioning. =)

Gallo Guesthouse is remarkable - you are literally booking an bachelor apartment with a private kitchen and bathroom. The showers are new and clean. We even got dishes, pots and pans so we could make our own dinners, instead of paying for restaurants. It was a amazing spot to stay. The property owner was extremely nice and helpful to us. We even got to leave our bags behind for a few hours after checkout.
