The owner is really kind and helpful. The location itself, although basic, is trendy and fairly conducive to making buddies as the primary floor has a common region so solo travelers will have no worries meeting people. The dorms are surprisingly roomy (at least the girls' was) and they're nice and air conditioned. The curtains give you privacy and there are lamps obtainable to every bed. Good location - just a quick few steps to Kokusai, although it's a lot more on the restaurant end (rather than the shopping end) of the street.

The hostel was outstanding value for money, and had a extremely good, central location. The guy running the location was a very nice person and very useful which helped to generate a calm atmosphere.
