Very great location. This hostel gets booked very fast, so please book ahead. They had very useful maps and information about Tokyo.

I liked the staff, the common area, along with the location.

I had a fantastic stay at Anne Hostel, the staff were friendly and helpful as well as the common location was a extremely sociable location to meet other travellers. I stayed in a 10 bed female dorm and it was clean and reasonably spacious. Each bed had a curtain to draw across so you felt like you had some privacy. The bathrooms were clean and facilities were superb generally. No cost breakfast was a real bonus.

I stayed here for 10 nights in early March and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The free breakfast is easy but exactly what is needed to prepare you for a long day of sightseeing. What makes this spot is the atmosphere(or at least when I was here, the breakfast brings everyone together and it was fantastic to meet so numerous like minded travellers) and even a lot more so, the staff. They are a credit to this spot and really couldn&'t do enough to help everyone; and their English is fantastic, which is best for an uneducated westerner like myself! Also, the lack of space inside the rooms, each bed has a shelf which was plenty large enough for my massive bag, what a lot more do you need You&'re in just about the most outstanding cities inside the world, you should be spending as little time inside your room as probable so why would you need so much space! Finally, the location, Tokyo is a huge city and you&'re often going to be faraway from something. Yes it&'s not particularly close to Shinjuku or Shibuya but is very close to Asakusa, Akihabara and Oshiage(the Skytree tower). In a country with as great a rail network as Japan I wouldn&'t really let the location bother you too much, you&'re nonetheless really near the centre, if Tokyo has a centre! And it sits on each a subway and a JR line with direct trains to Shinjuku etc. Anyway, I really couldn&'t suggest this spot more!

Communal location is great and creates a social environment. Extremely clean. Dorm rooms have curtains over each bed which is great. Will definitely be staying here when next in tokyo.

The environment of this hostel was great. Travelers were able to gather inside the common room and organize together. The entire property is extremely clean. The location is nearby a number of great siteseeing destinations. The staff is very useful and is fluent in English. Overall, just a great place. Japan seems to have the most effective hostels inside the world.

Free breakfast in the morning and the small comunityroom (also a small hostel) were helpfull to meet other travelers. ;) The athmosphere made me really feel like being with friend rather then being in a hotel/hostel

Very clean with nice toilets and showers. Beds have curtains for privacy and WiFi works in the bedrooms, plus there are power points by every bed. No cost breakfast is great, staff are helpful and it is only 5 mins away from a Metro and JR station. Lots of information for items to do in Tokyo. Definitely one of the very best hostels I have ever stayed at and best for recovering from a long haul flight from Europe!
