Apart from the straightforward fact that Sakura Hostel Asakusa is located in a vibrant and historic neighbourhood, the hostel itself is run by a team of staff who seem to be genuinely interested inside the well-being of their customers. Soon after four nights at Sakura, I moved to a 5-star hotel in another city of Japan, for the rest of my ten day trip to Japan - and have since been feeling *homesick* for the jovial environment and warm and friendly conversations with individuals I met at Sakura. I would highly recommend this hostel no matter whether you are travelling solo or with friends. As an Indian woman, travelling alone (with a slight foot injury) for my first pay a visit to to Japan, I have never really feel more welcome inside the company of strangers.

Close to trains and Asakusa is on the doorstep, a lot of restaurants around, room and bathroom clean, superb common area, comfortable beds, very helpful staff.

Extremely clean! - my room was super quiet too! (4th floor) and wasn&'t too small compared to other hostels. 24 hour desk service, which is great, and free internet! Exactly what a hostel should be like :)

I&'ve stayed at Sakura Hostel four times and each time has been a pleasing experience. The employees is friendly and everything is clean; rooms, bedding, bathrooms, everything! You can uncover cheaper places to stay in Tokyo but I doubt they&'d be nicer.

Close to Senso Ji and not too far from stations. Good stores close by and super helpful staff! Beds were in superb condition too and secure and secure. Will stay again!

Friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom. Near to well known temple, Senso-ji and train station for Tsukuba express line.

Clean and in a nice area, great for socialising - the dining location is large and there are often events like cooking and calligraphy for visitors to join in with. Staff are helpful. Lots of information available. No cost box of stuff that other visitors have left.
