Bunibon Lodge is a new Backpackers Joint started in 2010 with the cooperation of 2 parties Victor Suan and Josephen Job are husband and wife and Petronella Suan and her partner Nenad Zrnic. The birth of this Lodge was personal and with household affair inside the background, thus the name "Bunibon" mix of Vic and Jos 3 kids names Bubu, Nia and Bonbon. We are located right in the center of Sabahs capital, Kota Kinabalu.

Comfortable beds. The rooms are tiny but clean and also the air con was finr. Great Internet connection too. Didn&'t try the breakfast.

Wifi (okay for skyping). Staff were always accomodating and helpful. Aircon worked nicely in room. Airport transfer RM30. Location is pretty good, KK is small enough to walk around (except in the rain! ). Only had two days here to finish off my trip to Sabah, there are worse places to stay. I&'d stay again.

I liked how the the lodge felt like home. The beds were very comfy and the hostel was very clean. The staff was very helpful and since they speak exceptional english, talking with them was very easy.

It was walking distance to everything. They had a nice outdoor lounge region with a television and dvd player also as a indoor one. The employees were friendly. All in all I really enjoyed my stay, in fact I stayed for 3 extra days :)

The beds are extremely comfortable, along with the air con was quiet. There were low-cost safety lockers. The showers were often hot. No cost breakfast with tea or coffee (although the butter ran out and wasn&'t replaced) friendly staff and a special lift in a &'Herbie&' replica beetle!
