Location is fantastic - ocean is right outside across the street and only a 5-10 minute walk to areas of downtown. Very clean! Comfortable beds, fantastic staff, huge kitchen, awesome place! Napier is a cute, little, funky town in case you want to relax away from the Auckland/Wellington side of NZ. And in case you go, stay here!

The rooms are wonderful with fabulous views, the staff are fantastic and helpful, the kitchen is huge and clean, plus the no cost soup for dinner ROCKS!

The hostel was in a good location, with the town just down the road and the beach opposite. The cooking area was well equipped, with a lot of cooking room. We stayed in a twin room, which was chilly at night but a good size.
