The hostel was nicely furnished with a lot of touches of home. The owners have put a lot of effort in due to the fact everything is quality, especially for a hostel. They go above and beyond to create your stay excellent, including an offering of free spices (so a lot of I hadn&'t even heard of some before) and tea and coffee. The location is awesome and there is free parking nearby if you can nab a spot in time. The employees was extremely helpful and warm and friendly and offered great advice on local activities.

It is such a great location to stay. Just like home. There are so many useful things within the place, so nice! This was the first time I stayed in backpackers, and I really like backpackers!

This hostel is like a home from home and so much much more then first expected. Its location couldn&'t be better all employees were really warm and friendly and although i only stayed two nights i felt really much welcomed and at home there. the rooms are spacious and warm the cooking area has everything you would need and the living room has way much more then needed such as dvds, massive dining table and chairs massive sofas with blankets if feeling a little cold at the same time as a load of dvds to help your self to and pet fish and tortoises. I will be highly recommending this hostel to all my pals and if i return to Rotorua i will check in to stay here.

It was a spacious hostel. There were a lot of facilities on offer you including a lounge area exactly where individuals could watch tv and a choice of DVD&'s on offer you also.
