The character of the hostel was lovely and all of the travellers I experienced were very friendly, which was so nice. It was a fairly silent hostel which was exactly what I was looking for. The only issue was that it was impossible to turn off the radiator in the room which was on nuclear meltdown mode and so it was uncomfortably hot. The bath rooms were clean and the kitchen spotless. I am rarely comfortable walking without shoes in the bath rooms of hostels and I really didn&'t mind here.

Clean bedding would be nice. Extremely tired and needs a exceptional clean up to bring this potentially exceptional hostel back to previous glory.

The staff- particularly Colin- are exceptionally friendly, helpful and personal. The building is in an awesome location, has a highly unique style inside with a lot of opportunities to meet fellow travellers. The breakfast range was good, the kitchen and bath rooms were well-equipped, with locked showers. Lockers in rooms, TV in living room. Can not suggest enough!

The hostel was like going from home to home! Really really cosy spot and a stone&'s -throw away from a pub where live conventional Irish music was played each Thursday! (Definitely something to go && listen to :-)) The staff / owners were all extremely welcoming providing lots of information on bus / train times, day trips && walking tours etc. Fab location - near to bars / shops including Tesco which is literally 3 mins away (which was really useful for stocking up on food suppliers) The 8 bed dorm was clean, spacious && secure with cozy beds. Really social hostel with two rooms downstairs where individuals chatted among themselves / had dinner / lunch etc - Was effortless to meet && talk to others. What&'s more, on the 2 nights I stayed there - the staff organised a few drinks at the various bars within the area. Excellent way to see the very best places in town! Would definitely suggest this spot if you&'re staying in Derry - Other hostels may be cheaper, but the facilities provided && the welcoming staff is what makes this hostel stand out from all the rest!

This place has travellers in mind. From the warm welcome, to the bright and trendy rooms, to the outstanding information. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
