The staff was extremely nice, speaking English, Spanish, Portuguese, (Guarani) and little German as well. Did a very good job on my laundry. :) The house was awesome, huge and with a lot of rooms, lot of space, noiseless and we think they could generally rent it for much more. The house is a little bit outside the city which is actually good, because the city is loud and busy (and not really interesting). Daniel can tell you a lot about South America in general and traveling in particular. Fantastic kitchen! Drinking water, internet, tea, breakfast for free. amazing value, very good spot to stay! Less costly than in Foz do Iguazu, but also not far away to the falls. We recommend it definitely!

The house itself is amazing! It's huge and cozy and extremely clean. The owners are a nice young, helpful couple. Highly recommended!

Lisa, the housekeeper, looked right after me brilliantly. As soon as I arrived she made me feel at home by plying me with iced mate. The spot is extremely comforting (which is nice compared to the craziness of Cuidad del Este), the kitchen is superb along with the terraces are lovely.

The owners of CDE are such a warm and friendly welcoming couple, who provided such useful and helpful information on my entire stay in Ciudad Del Este. It is more like a home than a hostal, it is so warm and friendly and welcoming. I even stayed a few extra nights I enjoyed the spot so much.

Honestly the BEST location to stay in CDE. I really felt like I had found a hidden gem inside the city. The room was spacious, super comfortable and clean. The points of interest from the roof top deck were gorgeous and relaxing. Everything that I needed was right there (laundry, well stocked kitchen, computer, books, ping pong. . etc). What I was most impressed with were the owners and staff at the hostel. They really made me really feel welcome and cared for. They definitely went above and beyond what they needed to - serving me fresh homemade muffins & juice, giving me lots of info about sites to see and driving me to the bus station when I was leaving. Talk about generosity! In case you are travelling in CDE this really is THE location to stay!

It was perfect! Superb relax out spot, so affordable compared to Iguazu, etc. The room was large, bed comfy, breakfast nice, safe neighbourhood, chilled vibe and the couple running it were so nice and helpful. They sent emails of maps, directions and offered to pick me up, and when there Marianne made so a lot of yum cakes as shes doing a baking course, which was a nice bonus! Definitely one of the top, or top, hostels Ive stayed in in 8 months travelling, would so suggest it.

Mariana and Daniel, young couple who run and own the hostel are awesome people, really cool and friendly. They also have perfect english which is handy. Love staying here due to the fact its big, clean calm and they are very useful with info about the city and Paraguay in general.
