There really was nothing special to complain about. There was a lot of info about trips to Baikal. Cooking area was neat. The spot was small and cosy.

The gentleman who runs the hostel is lovely, friendly, and really helpful. The hostel is really clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The directions to the hostel were clear and easy to understand.

Staff is extremely friendly and also the spot is simple to reach (20 minutes walk) from the rail station. Alexander from staff knows good and cheap places to eat. Take tram number 1, 2 or 4a to reach the principal bus station. Olkhon and Listwanka can easily reached from Irkutsk. Ask Alexander. Internet (wifi) and also the hostels laptop are good working! Automatic washer is 200 rub per load.

Location near train station is very good - but that means it&'s a bit of a walk to town center and sights outstanding value for money kitchen and washing facilities are good

In many ways, your standard Russian hostel (it&'s a converted apartment, which means there&'s a slight shortage of space, and as a result only one bathroom and a small communal area). Nevertheless I had a enjoyable time, thanks in component to the mostly very helpful and sociable staff members. Comfortable beds, clean hostel, situated near train station and city centre.
