The staff was extremely warm and friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to create us feel at home. The game of Whist was especially fun. The location is great, beautiful scenery and easy access to hiking trails, plus you&'re away from the noises and hustle of huge cities. Finally, the beds were really comfy.

Amazing location within the center of the gorgeous Crianlarich village with magnificent points of interest of the mountains, you can walk less than hour down the primary road to get to the farm road leading to the base of Ben More. Rooms were spacious with chairs and coat hangers, the cooking area was superbly equipped with a lot more than everything you need, and there&'s a comfortable enough lounge with a TV and staff were friendly.

Crianlarich is like a house from house for our group. We have stayed in it a lot of times. It suits our purpose and is in a fantastic location. Only problem are the early birds who get up so early to catch their hills or set off walking. They dont appear to give consideration to those sleeping on a little longer as they are extremely noisy. The hostel does have notices up to keep noise down in between certain times but I dont think they can read them. Great hostel apart from that.
