We could not have been made to really feel a lot more welcome - lovely touches of gift wrapped shortbread biscuits on each of our beds, to a &'wee dram&' of whisky licquer as we set out to celebrate New Year, and the friendliest hosts. Basic to get into the city, and a decent breakfast. Definitely recommend!

Helpful and warm and friendly staff. Surprisingly clean (I&'m really picky �n relation to this). A lot of buses stopped just outside the guesthouse if you one day felt you didn&'t desire to walk in to town. To sump up, a great location to stay!

It&'s a 15- 20 minute walk from Royal Mile. There were food places within a 10min walk. Friendly employees :)

Very accessible from main route into Edinburgh from the North. Really central to public transport. some shopping centre not far away. private car park entrance to house effortless for elderly employees very helpful.
