Moonlight Backpackers was located &"off the beaten path&" in Hartbeespoort. It was a really lovely place to stay, very clean and friendly environment. The self-catering kitchen location was very nice and nicely taken care of, they deftiniely offer you a lot to create everyone happy to be there. The property owner is also raising game to put in local game parks so you can walk around and see all kinds of animals (eland, kuvu, etc. ). We would definitely stay there again as a amazing place to get out of the city and have some nice peace and quiet.

The room was superior the those I have used elsewhere, being a separate cottage with bed and shower room, and there was a large quite nicely equipped kitchen. A real bonus was the buck inside the fioeld next door; and i never expected to see Nyala and Wildebeest eating cabbage!, but there they were just a few metres away.

Close to De Wildt Cheetah Centre. Inexpensive. Overall, good place to begin getting over the jet lag and 8 hour time difference. Animal viewing was a great introduction for those with me who had never been to Africa.
