Good roof top area. Supermarket close by. 15 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are large.

I extremely suggest this hostel! The staff are super friendly and helpful and they always have a plan so that you don&'t get bored. The roof is an excellent place to chill and socialize along with the common room has pingpong table and loads of other games. Lots of pans and pots and plates and spices offered in the cooking area which makes it extremely easy to cook and save some money. The walk to the beach takes 15 mins which is not too long/far.

Mein aufenthalt im x hostel war wunderbar - geplant waren nur einige tage aber ich habe verlaengert, verlaengert, verlaengert, . nirgendwo anders hatte ich so ein gefuehl von zu hause (was nach ein paar monaten reisen sehr erfreulich ist). das employees ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer fuer einen spass zu haben. dieses hostel ist nicht nur gut fuer party (obwohl die pubcrawls ein wahnsinn sind! ) - es ist auch moeglich eine feine zeit zu haben und auf der terrasse zu relaxen. danke an alfie, nahir, alexius und madi - die das hostel mit leben und freude fuellen und alles im besten zustand erhalten.

My friend and I were so lucky to have picked such a FANTASTIC hostel! I have stayed in many different hostels around Europe and I would have to say this is the best one I have stayed at by far. The staff, Tom, Paula, Alexius, Hannah and Alfie were all so enthusiastic and fun that we felt right at home as soon as we arrived! Since they were all travellers at the same time they took fantastic pride in keeping the hostel spotless! Also, they provided the opportunity for &"family&" dinners and drinks with everyone!

All the employees at X-hostel made everyone feel so welcome. I loved the common area with the Ping pong table! super close to the supermarket and beach is easily walkable. Pommy Tom, Aussie Tom, Hannah and Hozay all made my stay in Alicante so much much more enjoyable, thanks heaps guys and girls!

Cool employees and a really nice owner of the hostel, loved the character of the hostel, a real backpacker youth hostel without a doubt the top hostel in Alicante. A location you need to visit if you are in Alicante. Greetings Stig from Norway

I have stayed at a lot of hostels and have never taken the time to write a review, though, XHostel Alicante is definitely worth praise. Originally I was going to stay for 1 night but had such an awesome time I stayed 4. The employees was not just staff, they treat you like family. The first night I stayed one of the employees cooked an amazing Paella dinner, including Sangria, on the roof terrace prior to a large group of visitors and employees went hitting the town for a wild night. Every night soon after there was one thing to do and someone to do it with. During the day the employees are very useful giving advice exactly where to go, what to see, what to eat, ect. Ultimately, if you are searching for comfort, quite, and a very good nights sleep this may not be the top of the top for you. Though, if you are searching for a purely awesome experience in Alicante with some completely fantastic people than look no further. This was one of the greatest vacations of my life and I will definitely be staying at Xhostel Alicante in the future.
