Beautifully situated at the end of Gruyeres' medieval hilltop fortress, Hostellerie des Chevaliers is a sublime place to lodge in order to explore the surrounding Alps. Also, the buffet breakfast is delicious, as Switzerland's morning meals tend to be.

Excellent location, picturesque/quant decor, and also the most effective breakfast buffet I have had in my many travel experiences. Gruyere is well-known for its fresh, natural foods, and also the breakfast offered just that -- fresh jams, milk, cheeses, breads, meringues, etc. Only complaint is that the beds are a bit stiff (but that could just be American bias speaking).

We were a household of four as properly as the room was large and clean. We liked very much, not A/C but it wasnt necessary. The town was gorgeaus, as properly as the location perfect. Exceptional parking. We definetely stay there again.
