My stay at Hotel Gulec could not have been better. I travelled to Bodrum by myself, and as a young female it was quite an adventure for me. The Gulec household made me feel right at home, were extremely helpful, and incredibly kind to me. I had my fair share of travel mishaps whilst I was in Bodrum (a lost debit card, cancelling and rescheduling flights, etc) along with the Gulec household and staff were far more than pleased to help me every single step of the way. The gardens are a excellent oasis to sit in to have a (yummy! ) breakfast, there is certainly a really very good laundry washing facility next door, the room had everything I needed, and I can&'t emphasize enough how hospitable the staff are. I would adore to come back to Gulec for another visit!

It&'s just a 7 minute walk from the otogar and 5 minute walk to the sea front from the hotel&'s front door. Our room was large with two windows, en suite bath, and good Wifi signal. The top feature is the garden, a peaceful, verdant place, filled with fruit trees and flowers and a patio exactly where breakfast was served. The location is excellent - just steps away are cafes, stores and a bakery. The bazaar is just mins away along with the promenade along the waterfront offers great scenery of Bodrum&'s harbor along with the quay exactly where the gulets (Turkish sailboats) are moored. The Crusader Castle of Saint Peter is an easy walk and a must-see. Our host and hostess and their son were always there to help with any request. We had a beautiful stay!

Memet the host was extremely helpful. He made sure we knew about everything around us and also gave us his business card in case we needed anything whilst we were out. The location s perfect, it is far enough off the principal strip so that is certainly quet but close enough where you can easily walk to everything.
