Ideal hostel. exceptional location. right by the galata tower. employees is incredibly helpful -- especially goktug && deniz, and all the others, but i don&'t remember their names. always willing && eager to answer my never ending list of questions. really warm && inviting atmosphere. as a solo female traveler, i felt incredibly safe. feels like you&'re staying with friends. showers are also really warm. always a plus.

The first thought of Planet Home is friendly and warm guys at the reception desk, specially Mustafa :). We felt like among the friends, and this is precious. We stayed in room on the top floor and it had a small balcony with amazing view on Galata tower and also the neighborhood. The room and also the bathroom were clean and well equipped, and it was warm on those rainy days in March. Some mentioned the noises from outside, but we didn&'t hear it. A call for service from the nearby mosque at about 6 inside the morning was like a reminder we are nonetheless in Istanbul, and then went back to sleep. The breakfast was basic but delicious, including fresh tomato and cucumber, and olives mmm. Location is really good, close to the public transportation (T1, ferries, metro and tunnel) and Galata Bridge, numerous bars and pastry stores which are merely few mins by walk. Although filled with tourist, the street nonetheless holds local charm. Thanks guys for amazing encounter and all of the advice you gave us. If some day went to Istanbul again, we will definitely stay here! Dalija and Marko

I like everything about globe house hostel starting the location: Just few steps away from Galata Tower, only few mins to Istiklal street, walking distance to taksim square and to Sultanahmet area. 5 minute walk to all Istanbul&'s nightlife, && this is all what i needed 2nd the environment is so calm && relaxing, so clean, the staff are so helpful, and i met extremely friendly people from all countries so its just perfect

I really like the location in beyoglu, nice to move away from the tourist center of sultanahmet. The employees is also so helpful and nice!

I l love the fact that it was near to the Galata tower and in an awesome location along with the employees was fantastic along with the individuals i have spent the highest birthday ever

The hostel was extremely good. it was in center of everything. and inside walking distance of most of the tourist attractions. and i felt extremely at house when being at the hostel. always sorrounded by kind and loving individuals and also the staff is extremely very friendly(especially Deniz). nothing wrong with the facillities either. everything was impecable.

When I frst I arrived wth my ssters to Istanbul t was 3 am n the mornnng and my bookng was for the next day, the hostel was full but the guys here could manage to fnd me an other room close to the hostel. They guys who works here were very frendly, helpfull and very respectful wth us. Mustafa, Kadr, Peln, Samane, and Denz are simply awsome people who works here and they made my vacaton much much more precious.
