Los Angeles Surf City Hostel

The Location is unbeatable! I could see the Ocean whilst taking a shower, right on the pier, if you need to surf and or party. It&'s far out from central LA but you can rent a car or take the bus (takes a whilst though). The employees is very helpful, there is certainly a chilled vibe going on. I also liked the Hostel offer to rent a bicycle for 10 dollars a day and the also offer boogie boards and volleyballs.

The area around the hostel is really good. The beach is direct in front of the hostel and there are a lot of pubs, bars, markets etc. inside the near. Also the area is really safe, even inside the night.

This spot is a trendy spot. It&'s literally on Hermosa beach and yes, as other reviewers have noted, right on top of the local bars. If you are into quiet, this spot isn&'t for you. It gets loud and really wild at times. I found the individuals there what gave it character. The staff were generally warm and friendly and helpful. This is a surfer spot. If you are into surfing and want to meet other surfers, then check this spot out. If you are into the beach and want to meet some characters, check it out. Breakfast was good enough. Cereal and pb+J. Nothing fancy. But it&'s super cheap. So worth it.

On the beach. Tons of food and bars right down the stairs. Close to everything. As for hostels, I&'d stay there anytime for inexpensive accommodation.
