I extremely much enjoyed my stay inside the hostal, from the employees to the other backpackers, everybody was a joy to meet.

It was nice that there was a bathroom in my room. I stayed in a room with four beds. The guy at the front was really helpful and friendly. And whilst it was cold and relatively empty whilst I visited, there was a fantastic location for hanging out in the yard and playing the guitar (There&'s one in the cooking area for community use. ).

N. B. When I booked, the new hostel on 1st Street had not established yet and so was supposed to stay at the Patterson Street hostel. I was under the impression that that hostel was going to close and re-locate to 1st Street. I actually stayed at the new downtown hostel on 1st Street, which is fantastic - all brand-new - stunning. The location is fantastic and Ron, the owner, has gone all out to make it an outstanding place to stay.

My friend and I had a amazing time at Music City Hostel. The setting is amazing and it&'s effortless to meet other travellers. There&'s always someone around playing guitar which is cool. On the Friday night the hostel organised a large Barbeque and one of the guys that works there and his band played a live music set which was a lot of fun.

The setting is terrific. Almost any time of day you will uncover musicians from all parts of the world jamming inside the yard or living rooms. Barbeque pits are going. Met an awesome Slovakian there. I&'ve just never had such an excellent time at a hostel, ever!

I liked the price in conjunction with location as compared to hotels inside the area. This was the first US hostel I have stayed at and thought it was a great representation.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hostels has lots of character. It was clean and was about a little over a mile from downtown. Overall, would definitely stay here again if and when I come back.
