Only three/four rooms, small hostel=family atmosphere. Metro stop Marcy Avenue 10minutes away. Coffee and pastries often in the kitchen, free to use. Owner Joe very warm and friendly and helpful. The largest room (where we stayed) was huge just fine, beds were good and comfortable.

Great home away form home. Safe (you have your own key to your room and to the place), really clean, 5 mins to J and M subway (10 min to Manhattan, 25 to Times Square) and 3 mins to G line. The property owner is really pleasant and helpful. Great value for money.

The hostel feels really homely. It is in a really quiet and secure neighborhood and the subway station is only 10 minute walk from the front door. We had a 7 day subway pass which was only 26 dollars so it&'s easy to get around the rest of New York from the hostel with out spending much. Joel who owns it is really helpful with suggesting ideas and answering questions. We also enjoyed meeting the other people staying at the hostel. Being such a small hostel it&'s a really calm spot to be.
