Very fresh and clean hostel. Large and clean rooms. No air-con, but good fan, it was enough. Cooking area was extremely clean, but quite small. Nice common area.

Really nice hostel- outstanding atmosphere, large kitchen, close to everything and they have a lovely pug called Bruce! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely smashing environment. Really sociable hostel with extremely clean facilities. Had a quality stay there. The property owner could have been more cheerful inside the morning, but he was nicely into the entertainment by the end of the day.

I loved the atmosphere at this hostel, especially during the night time - they make a real effort with the standard of the public areas and it&'s a outstanding spot to chill out within the evenings. Cleaning is very thorough. Other reviews have mentioned the owner being unpredictable, which is true, but generally he&'s pretty personable. I missed my bus and extended my stay here, and had a really outstanding time. It doesn&'t really matter that Agnes Water doesn&'t have any night life, as it&'s really cool just being at the hostel within the evenings. 6 dollar dinner is very outstanding value.
