The toiletes and rooms are really clean. You will be really surprised with cleanness at this property. The staff is really warm and friendly and helpful. I stayed at five different hostels on Tasmania, but this one was the greatest for sure.

The atmosphere was great-- the movie system and washing system were superb and there was adequate space for lots of people to really feel comfortable.

Lovely old building with lots of history, good kitchen, lounge room etc, and bottle shop just around the corner. Really friendly employees - Fiona is lovely!

Didn't stay long and it was off season so not representative but I liked the decor of the place. I arrived to find everyone in the TV room watching movies. One negative comment is that they charged for blankets but given this Tasmania in winter this should be included as given.
