Location. Cheap price. Location had its bad points, too though. The hotel's back was adjacent to a traditional, lower class neighbourhood. These folks can make lots of, ahem, unusual noises and enjoy producing them very early in the morning or late at night.

Like a small motel/hotel, staff were nice and tried to be helpful but english wasn't great. No phone, food or internet facilities to our knowledge, but location is great near to a metro station and about 10mins walk to Xinjiekou in the centre of town.

The only problem but not least was that they could not find our booking that we had to insist so as they check again ; finally we obtained our room.

This hotel is in a terrific location, very near to Xin Jie Kou. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is easy to find transportation to many parts of the city. However, they did not receive our reservations. Reservations are probably unnecessary--they still had a vacancy even though it was October holiday.
