It's really inside the centre of the (not so big) city, you can reach every single corner inside half an hour, the sea along with the castle are only some metres away. The kitchen looks good, but we did not use it.

Loved this hostel, couldn't fault it apart from going out of season so it was quite empty; there were two other people staying there

The place is really tidy, obviously recently refurbished so everything is tip-top. The hostel is right close to the old castle and only about 100m from the restaurants along with the primary street, Post. The same building (and owner, I think) has a bowling alley.

This is a relatively new hostel, installed in the 2nd (by US counting) floor of a remodeled building, over a bowling alley. Most important words here are 'Bowling Alley'. Some of the rooms, or at least mine, seemed at times to be IN the bowling alley. That said, the bowling business is seasonal and though they stay open til midnight, it was usually pretty quiet after 9 or 10. I had a long narrow room with 3 beds and never saw a roommate, so I got the bed near the one tiny window. I dont think it would have been much fun if I had had to share the room with 2 others. Kitchen, showers, WC all clean and neat, with good facilities if you want to cook, and TV to watch. Most of the few others staying there did not speak much English (nor did the staff) so I didnt have much social contact. this might be totally different for others. Cyclists note: Owners let me keep my bicycle in the bowling alley overnight because there is no covered bike rack or storage room.
