The friendly and really helpful staff. There is certainly stunning cosy garden exactly where you can have coffee early morning:)

It was extremely pleasant to stay at Apa Kaba. It has a beautiful yard with all those cute rabbits. The breakfast was great and tasty. Although it does not locate near the Jonker Street, after you get familiar with the route(or using your GPS), You can reach there with 10 minutes.

This guesthouse is really great. I like the yard which is all green with grassland and trees. The host is kind as nicely as the breakfast is so rich.

The opportunity to stay in a traditional Malaccan home gave us a taste of a fast disappearing lifestyle and insights into the local history and culture. The household and employees were really welcoming from the moment we arrived, made us feel at home and were generous with information, stories and suggestions - especially to satisfy our interest within the local cuisine! Apa Kaba&'s employees and owners warm and friendly and interested approach enhanced our expertise of Malacca.

Great character and staff. really calm and restful spot. Any spot that serves curry and roti at breakfast is amazing in my eyes!

Absolutely everything! Owners and employees were great, friendly and really nice! Location is ideal to reach all of the primary attractions. Hostel is really quiet. Breakfast is really good, with diferents plates every single morning. Free wi-fi, coffe and tea!

If you like the simpleness of life, you will definetly like apa kaba. I believe it was kenny that helped me with an injury at my footi am really thankfull for that he helped me. Honest people and truly interested in your life stories. Malacca itself could possibly be seen in 1 day but in case you come from singapore or kuala lumpur and you have some time left then try to enjoy the rest.

Awesome customer service - they even went out and bought me beer to stock the frig! Also great yard area.
Customer Review on 22 January 2012
Many thanks to the household of Apa Kaba Home&&Stay for the warm welcome. The forefather shared with us his high level of local culture, giving us the chance to learn a lot more about Malacca, and that was great! I really like so much the garden to savour the fresh handmade breakfast or for a little nap inside the middle of the afternoon. The location is perfect, close to city but not inside the tourist area, a lot more in a middle of a &"kampong&", definitly a place to recommend!
