Howard is by far the most friendly and helpful person I have ever met in a hostel. The hostel is clean and quiet, situated a (very) short walk from the primary attractions in the town centre. The rooms were not air-conditioned but that was no problem because Malacca really cools down at night.

My single private room was nicely equipped with a mirror, clothes hangers, night table etc, but most importantly, a ceiling fan! :) The owner, Howard, is a outstanding guy, who seems to genuinely appreciate hosting his guests and bringing individuals together.

There is a great movie collection, however, you don&'t need to be stuck inside. There is certainly drinking water which saves money. The owner, Howard, is incrediably enthusiastic, gets everyone together and has the really best knowledge of the area. The dorms are cheap && reasonably clean but not what I expected.

We had a brilliant time at Ringo&'s. Howard was such an awesome host, making an effort to introduce all of the visitors and show you around the town. We were there 2 nights and the first night he took us on a bicycle ride to some fantastic street stalls for dinner, and the next night he showed us round the Friday night market. Each night ended with beers up on the roof terrace. The hostel was in an incredible location, not faraway from center of Chinatown, was kept clean, and had a extremely homely atmosphere. One of my favourite hostels I&'ve stayed in!

I really liked the atmosphere. The property owner Howard really tries to bring people together- great place to meet other people. Evening cycle And dinner following is really good fun. Howard brings you to places you wouldn&'t even know existed, no cost tea and coffee and cooking area facilities. Location was around the corner from yonker street. Free wifi. Rooms are clean and have AC.

Evening tours to go eat, simple walk to places of interest, clean and friendly atmosphere
