Tony's GuesthouseAccommodation Type : Guesthouse A 2-story building painted deep yellow and dark green situated at 24, Lorong Banda Kaba, off Lorong Bukit Cina, 75100 Melaka, and West Malaysia. We started our GH in May 1999 and we wish to thank all of the travelers who have stayed in our GH for the last 11. 5 years. Since then, we have upgraded our GH from time to time. By Sept 2010, we will have 2 double rooms and 2 triple rooms with air-conditioning facility which is optional.

The place was really home-ly and different from typical plain hotels. The doors, walls, and paintings were all hand-painted by Tony in a special and colourful manner. It was also quite clean, and the beds were either really comfortable or we were really tired but we had a very good night&'s rest.

Owner seem cold but he is warm and friendly and helpful if you take time to chat with him. The cold expression is far more of a cultural misinterpretation. Room, location is good.

The location&'s good, only 5 minutes walk to the city centre and a quality matress provided a superb night sleep. The setting/decor is quite funky, each floors have their own cooking area and socialising area (sofas, table and chairs) making it quite homey.
