Excellent value for money, very good location, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel with swimming pool on the roof for 8 euro per night that's crazy!. i'll be back there |

We were amazed at the great value of Hotel Metropole when visiting in June, just before high season (7 euros each a night) - especially when breakfast was included in the price! Air-conditioning was a welcome luxury! The Hotel is also well-placed in terms of bus stops. There are plenty of buses taking you to Valletta, where you can get a bus to whichever part of the island you want to go to, but there are also a decent number of buses from Sliema itself to other parts of the island - so you don't always have to go to Valletta first. The staff at Hotel Metropole were very friendly and eager to point us in the direction of the right bus stop! On the whole, we really enjoyed our stay. |

It had an excellent location. It was right next to the shore and just a minute walk from a bus stop. My room was very comfy and always clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful to me. |

The staff are very friendly and co operative. The higher priced rooms are much better than the cheaper ones. Its definitely a good value for money. The breakfast was good quality but if you stay longer, you will know its repetitive. Although one cannot offer a different menue for the nice price. So in all, as above said, is a good package and well connected to many of the bays. |

Internet access was only reception area, and connection was weak, so it was convenience. First day, air conditioner didn't work, so I claimed the receptionist, but he wasn't kind, and the repairman didn't come until I claimed the receptionist twice. |

The price was good. The breakfast was plentiful (cereal, yoghurt, coffee, tea, milk, eggs, bread/rolls, sliced cheese and meat, apples/oranges). I didn't like it that they had no publicly accessible computer; internet was 3 euros per hour. Bus transportation is 2 blocks away and frequent. |

It is close to water. But computers were not working too well and AC was turning off by itself |

Very good value for the money. Very basic but clean and with AC and breakfast also ok with cereals, fruits and boiled eggs. Staff is very nice and the location is perfect. Nice bathroom. |
