Cheap and clean place, with a very helpfull stuff and a wonderful view on the river (at least from our room on the third floor). There are many nice little pubs and Fado-Bars around as properly as the metro as properly as the city-center are very close too. Would definitely go there again!

The room was clean and nice. We were near a bathroom and also the hostel seemed very secure.

Great place, exceptional location and super warm and friendly staff! They were so kind that Cristina (receptionist) was worried about the bed size as my husband and I are quite tall. Had a wonderful chat to the girl from Cabo Verde (forgot her name), she even checked the weather forecast for us!

Beira Mar doesn&'t do itself justice when described by the word &'hostel&'. It was brilliantly furnished and really bohemian, being located in the old town gave it outstanding character whilst nonetheless being near to the city centre along with the employees were all fantastic. We felt like we we&'re staying in a five star hotel. I can not recommend this location more.
