Very clean. Really professional yet relaxed. Most accommodating hostel staff I have ever met. The free food is of the best standard. I stayed for 10 days and did not have a single negative experience.

This is a really good hostel, clean, secure, fun. The rooms are decent. the sheets are clean. The employees put together projects to get everyone involved, such as cooking of the food, anyone can help. And also the pub crawl is fun. I extremely recommend this hostel

I&ve been travelling to many places all over the world, and will defenetly say that this is one of the very best hostels ever! friendly staff, helpful aswell, extremely clean, comfortable beds, outstanding secure storage for your items within the rooms. they have a lot of discounts on the shops around, so you could get outstanding deals, on food and drinks. FUN FUN FUN! worth every single penny!

I was really impressed with this hostel. The employees were really friendly and extremely helpful. A great breakfast was provided, fresh fruit, bagels with cream cheese, peanut butter, jam and so on Also eggs were accessible if you wanted to cook them up yourself. The put on a free dinner 3 nights a week! I had Tacos one night, fresh and delicious. No cost wifi and quite a few computers for people to use. Large public area/dining room. And lots of other little perks. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Good vibe, no cost breakfast and no cost dinner on some nights. The employees are helpful, they advertise the great stuff to see and do in San Fran and also the place organises events to meet other travellers as well.

Love its kitchen! My 3-day trip in SF is very tightly packed, that means I had to leave the spot very early and get back very late. However, I can always use the cooking area to make myself a yummy hearty breakfast! Really made me really feel home :) Also the staff at GT were very nice and interesting people.

Everything. real alternative atmoshpere, entirely tailored to travellers. So much free stuff - wifi, breakfast, games, activities, meals a few times a week, sauna. Fantastic place, right inside the center of the city. Staff are super warm and friendly and knowledgable and welcoming. Great value for money.

Fantastic large beds and lockers, fantastic location walking distance from fisherman&'s wharf and union square, and a super helpful staff. No complaints, will stay there again inside the future
