Excellent hostel in a secure location (Chinatown/Financial District). All of the employees were super friendly and dorm && bathroom were kept clean and tidy. Very sociable lounge upstairs. Highly recommended!

The staff were extremely warm and friendly and made sure you felt welcome. They explained exactly where to look for things and exactly where to shop for what. They have a extremely nice common room with no cost wireless and computers, also as games and entertainment scheduled for most nights.

Having recently stayed at another hostel near Powell station, Tradeswinds Hostel winds hands down! It&'s location is not only safe but near to Chinatown, Columbus, etc. The individuals were also much more friendly, into taking and discovering instead of sitting around connected to the internet. I mean, you came to SF to explore, not be glued to Facebook. Beds are sturdy, individuals are very curteous.

To keep my review balance the employees were very warm and friendly and helpful. the location is clean aside from the negative below. The location is quite good, slighlty closer to the wharfs than numerous other hostels.

It is clean and staff is often helpful and available. After signing out within the morning it was possible to leave my luggage to the hostel until midnight.
