Staff were friendly and very informative and not too pushy about selling us tours. Room was clean. Welcome drink was a very nice touch, and really refreshing.

Friendly owners, providing local info about the sights to see. Our first night we stayed up-market hotel (Continental Saigon) our second at Vy Khanh Guesthouse, and Vy Khanh gave a much greater really feel simply because it was in amoungst the locals and extremely friendly. Central to stores and restaurants.

Really fantastic stay. Fantastic location but off the principal street, so nice and quiet. When you walk inside the home is a haven of cool and noiseless after the hot and humidity of Saigon. It is probably the most clean spot I have seen in a month of Vietnam. Vy and her mother are extremely very friendly to, have great tips, a great map, and also the tours booked are fantastic to. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place, totally recommendable.

Very clean, good aircon and also surprisingly quiet for central Ho Chi Minh City. Also the property owner (Mrs Vy) was really helpful and also the other owner (we were oppostie the primary Vy Khanh guesthouse so not sure if it&'s one and also the same or another guesthouse) - anyway the guy was so sweet and wanted to hug us when we left! really good location for sightseeing, booking onward travel and low-cost but good restaurants.

Great comfy atmosphere. Vy and her Mum were always ready to help and were extremely efficient in organising our trips out of HCMC ( they have a tour desk). Honest advice were also given prior to deciding on which trips to take. You can really feel that they genuinely want the most effective for their guests. The map given upon your arrival is extremely useful with all of the key places of interests and ammenities clearly listed out. Overall, a clean and cosy guesthouse that you have to stay in when in HCMC.

Excellent location - right inside the middle of it. Really warm and friendly family, organised taxi cab cabs and tours for us no problem. I even left my hat behind when leaving for airport and the guy chased right after me on his scooter to return it! Really clean and safe. Alleyway looks dodgy but that&'s just how it is in Saigon. Would suggest taxi cab pick-up if you&'ve never been to Saigon before! Enjoy!

I&'ve stayed in a lot of inexpensive guesthouse/hostel style hotels all over East Asia, and this was almost certainly the very best one I&'ve seen. The place is very clean, well-located, the rooms are large and well-appointed, and finest of all is the staff. Vy in particular was extremely helpful and friendly. (To the comment by a traveler below that the employees asked for $8 for calling her a taxi cab to the train station: that would have been the cost for the trip, not what they were going to charge you just to call the cab. We had Vy arrange us a taxi cab to the airport and we paid the hotel in advance like this, and did not have to pay the driver. ) I highly suggest this hotel.

Vy is remarkable and helpful with ideas for eating, shopping, sight seeing and booking of tours and buses. Super friendly staff. Clean and comfortable, superb location. Would definitely recommend.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was outstanding (coffees were made for us; fantastic currency exchange; helpful in booking tours; greeted with smiles and even hugs). A very central guesthouse that helped us find our way through the city and provided very clean rooms with inexpensive water.

Very nice employees that will go the extra mile for you. We booked a 3 day Mekong Delta tour trip, but due to circumstances we had to stop it soon after one day. We were compensated for the last two days completely. Thank you, due to the fact we know it was a no refund trip when we booked.
