The rooms were silent for the quantity of partying and drinking going on within the bar as well as the terrace. We had a room on the terrace side, socouldn&'t hear the bar. The kitchen never seemed too busy and also the girl at reception was really friendly and helpful. They do try to include everyone that&'s interested in their activities, but these are mostly drinking based. I wasnt the biggest fan of the free dinner, due to the fact its often the same: a tiny portion of rice or pasta with chicken or beef with gravy based sauce but the Barbeque burgers were awesome and plenty.

I would extremely suggest this hostel to stay in! Right in center of Cairns, walking distance to all significant attractions. The Rooms were extremely clean, A free meal is included in the restaurant every single night! Large portions and great options. No cost wi fi, employees are extremely accommodating and a large balcony for socialising with other backpackers. The hostel is above a bar which is amazing as they have different events on for guests, it does get a little noisy on the weekend but only until 1am! Overall a amazing place, would definitely stay again.

Very good location, near the bus and also the train terminal, really helpful staff, a girl at the reception help me to book me a tour on the reef, which was difficult as everything was almost booked out. The rooms were clean and air contioned.

Staff was super warm and friendly and very helpful, fantastic location close to esplanade and shopping, free wireless and free dinner, fantastic balcony to chill out on, bar underneath and restaurant underneath. bathrooms and showers were clean.
