Nice architecture, green and noiseless surroundings. No hassle with the key issue. But beware: if you come late, they will tell you by email the password to retrieve the key from machine, so make sure about net connection.

Charme eines Studentenwohnheims. Viel junges, internationales Publikum. Kein typisches Hostel, man fuhlt sich eher wie ein Mit-Studierender :-). Toll!

A group of three friends and myself stayed here. Upon arrival the staff appeared to be unprepared for our arrival and even accused me of not having paid the account. We paid the extra for bedding and towels, however my friend's room was without a pillowcase, and in another the rubbish bin had not been emptied. In general the kitchen, bathroom and hallway areas were dirty. There was an inadequate supply of toilet paper (had to buy my own). On the upside, I always felt that myself and my belongings were safe, the location was quiet and at the same time very well serviced by public transport. Overall I would say that the hostel service run by the Studentendorf is quite obviously second fiddle to its student residence service.

Staff were extremely warm and friendly and helpful indeed. A noiseless location, nice for me who wanted a little peace!
